51 year old GP from Lancashire.  Living in the Western Isles for the last 20 years, working as a GP and, for the last 10 years, also been involved in developing pathways for local provision of services. Developed interests in Cardiology (GPSI Rapid Access Clinic), Stroke (set up and ran TIA clinic and developed VC link for thrombolysis with NHS Grampian), Osteoporosis (DEXA service localised) and work with HB on updating clinical guidelines.

Outside interests based around cycling (slowly).
